Burning a frying pan from time to time is inevitable. And when you start thinking of cleaning it – it gets annoying as you know you need to spend forever scrubbing it and there is no guarantee it will be spotless after all. You can always throw it away and buy a new one, only that this will be an expensive solution.
There is a simple and effective way of cleaning a burnt pan only with vinegar and baking soda and half the scrubbing time (or even less) and half the effort.
You will need a cup of water, a cup of vinegar, two tablespoons of baking soda and a scourer.
Start by filling the bottom of the pan with water and then add the vinegar. Bring it to the boil to activate the cleaning power of the mixture. Remove the pan from the heat and add the baking soda. Stay back as this will fizz. Leave it for a while and then empty it and scour as usual. You can add a little bit of dry baking soda on the scourer for the stubborn stains.
And that’s it. You saved time and effort and achieved great results.
